Most churches have no clear, public pathway to spiritual maturity. “If making disciples is the primary mission of the church, would we not expect some public pathway to maturity in Christ in most churches? As part of our Small Group Leader training we emphasize that everyone in the church has a “next step” in their faith journey. Small Group Leaders are responsible for spending time with people and helping them identify their next step and make a game plan to make it happen.
