A new semester at Asbury Theological Seminary starts soon. I am legitimately earning my Methodist badge with a class on Wesley this time! I am excited because Wesley’s emphasis on small groups, accountability, and discipleship for ongoing spiritual growth is such an important message… perhaps even more so in the pandemic era where people tend to be more isolated than ever.

I am halfway done with my degree program! With 3-4 classes a year, I anticipated 5 years total to finish, but Hurricane Micheal added a year to that. On the flip side, I spent that year employed as a Teaching Assistant at the seminary for Inductive Bible Study classes and that was an excellent experience! Honestly, I am really in no hurry. There is plenty of reading and learning to do!
